Classes & Workshops Info
Approximately 3-6 months before a class I will send out an "open enrollment" newsletter/e-mail when classes are open for enrollment at which time I will take deposits.

Deposits can be made by phone with a credit card, or you can mail a check or money order.
Or you can come in person and pay with any of the above or even cash :)

Classes are first come with deposit, first served.  Please do not send me an e-mail asking me to put your name on "the list"... if you want to mail a check for your deposit please call and let me know.  Click here for more info about sending a deposit check.

If you are interested in a class that has not opened up for registration please be sure to sign up for the newsletter by going to the home page and filling out the Vertical Response sign-up form.  Please finish the sign-up process by responding to the auto e-mail to confirm that you wish to be on my list.  If you don't do this you will not get any e-mail newsletters from me.  Check your spam filter if you don't receive the auto e-mail to confirm.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
*Classes and workshops require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of enrollment.

*Payment in full will be due 2 weeks (14 days) before the first day of the class.  Your fees are non-refundable.

*The exception to the non-refund policy is if you can fill the spot on your own or if I can fill the spot from a wait list.

*Credit card bank fees will be subtracted from any refund (see the exception below).

*All classes and workshops are subject to cancellation by "The Mandrel" or the instructor due to low enrollment... in this case all fees will be refunded in full.

*All classes include lunch and dipped mandrels for use in class.

ABOUT THE CLASSES
Most classes held at The Mandrel are for advanced bead makers.  I try to note the minimum level of experience required for each class.  If you are unsure about where you are, please check here http://www.schermobeads.com/classes/skilllevels.htm.  Ann Scherm Baldwin's skill level page is wonderful resource.  It's very difficult to determine a person's level of experience based on length of time.  For example: a persons level who works at the torch 20 hours a week for 1 year is quite different than the person who works only 1 hour a week for a year (there are exceptions to this rule).  So, "Schermo" has generously let me link to her website so you can use her skill levels page to determine where you are at.
